Easter Fun

Here are a couple of shots we took at our recent Easter Egg Hunt at the school. These two pictures represent the 5 minutes out of the day that Tyler wasn't smiling;) Go figure. I still think they are cute. Stay posted. I still have more holiday pictures to share.

A Nice Weekend

We had a nice long weekend celebrating with family. We were busy running, doing all the fun things that we could. Tyler was a little under the weather and we expect to see a tooth soon as he was feverish, fussy, runny nosed, and chapped cheeked. He's really chewing on anything he can get his hands on. Here are some pictures of egg coloring and hunting with cousins.

Happy Easter!

Here's some bunny love for you on Easter morning. (I let Ryan wear his holy jeans in honor of the occasion;) See, he has his hand in a big rip in his jeans. What a boy. I hope you have a wonderful day.

We had a fun evening. Hailee, Jakee, Rickey, and Amand-ee (hee hee;) stopped by last night for a visit. Ryan woke up first thing in the morning and asked if they could come back over. We played video games and broke out toys that haven't been touched in months. Ryan even broke away from the videos to chase his cousins around the room. Fun. Tyler enjoyed watching the antics too, but he pooped out around 8 and buried his face in my chest. I regret that I didn't get the camera out. Instead, I'll share some pix from earlier in the week.

So we had these really fun plans yesterday. To celebrate our anniversary, we were going to eat lunch at the Hunt Club with the kids and play video games. (We were going to make the trip on Saturday, but little Ryan became very irritable and disagreeable so he spent some time in Time-out instead.) We drove to Jackson to pick up some very cute 6 mos. pictures of Tyler only to have Ryan throw a tantrum in the middle of the mall. (We still don't know what triggered the tantrum.) Jim has never been so embarassed. He carried Ryan to the parking lot and had to walk all the way around Jackson Crossing to get to our truck near Sears. Jim was sweating by the time he got to the car. Tyler and I walked through the mall to get to the car so we got to avoid the scene. We headed straight home and did not allow Ryan to listen to Shrek CD or to play any video games for the entire day!

How disappointing. The whole family missed out on fun. I dread the day that one of the boys ruins the fun for the other one. It will be that much harder to do the right thing. I hope Ryan learned a valueable lesson. On a good note, at least we got the 2 boys down for a nap at the same time when we got home. Jim got to read the paper and watch some ESPN. I got to do some scrapbooking.

Signs of Spring beyond the Snow

Wow, it sure is nice that it is starting to get light out in the mornings on the way to work. Even Ryan notices that it's not so dark. He is just amazing. All the way to work and home, he recognizes landmarks and can tell me where and when to turn...and which road takes us to the dentist ;)

This weekend we will be turning the clock forward one hour, a sure sign that spring is on the way. This is also a special weekend because Jim and I are celebrating 6 years of marriage. Jim will tell you it doesn't even feel like 6 years has gone feels more like 20. Hee Hee. He hasn't improved much on his suave-ness over the years either. Anyway, he still brings Spring to my life every day. Happy Anniversary Jim. I hope it's been the best 20 years of your life.

Snow Complaint!

Okay, so all of my blogger friends are sick of the snow too. Jim shoveled us out this morning...almost 6 inches to plow through. Roads were crappy. White outs and drifting made it almost impossible to see. These conditions can make most drivers white knuckled. I think mine are purple today.

Come on spring!

Here's a pic of Tyler bundled up for the day. ( I know, I know, where are the pics of Ryan? I can't get him to stop playing video games long enough for a shot.)
