Blake's Bowling Bash!

Tyler sure did have a blast with Blake at Summit Lanes.  Pictured above:  Caleb, Joseph, Tyler, Blake, and Logan.  Blake really enjoyed his Angry Bird theme and we got him an Angry Bird game.

Ryan enjoyed some lane time as we scored a $6 deal with shoes for 2 hours.  He played non-stop without the bumpers and had some fun!  Good Job Ryan.

Days off of School and Playdate

School was cancelled two days in a row due to water issues in the Village of Addison.  We enjoyed the days staying in our pajamas and catching up on some game playing.

The boys were excited to finally get back to school and spend time with friends...uh, I mean...enjoy their great learning experiences.  I had a great time too.  I had the chance to sub in Mrs. Bloom's class and enjoyed the first grade company.  However, things went a little crazy at the end of class when we exited the door to the playground and several kids slipped into mud bath.  They were covered from head to toe in mud!  I begged them to appologize to mom's and dad's.  Sorry!

The kids were also eager to go to school b/c Santa's Secret Shop took place today.  I sent my kiddos with a five dollar bill and hit pannick mode when I discovered that the first grade students were bringing in 20's and even a $60 check.  Wowza!  Boy was I relieved when my boys reported they were able to get everything they needed with the $5.

Ryan had the chance to go to Dylan's after school so Tyler and I decided to pick up Jack for a playdate at home.  The kiddos played some skylanders and then ventured downstairs to play with the train.

We really enjoyed Jack's company and had fun introducing his momma to our easy-peasy pierogi dinner that night.  Yumm-o!

The next night, I had to work...
The boys had a fun time at the game with Daddy and were really proud to watch our neighbor Luke in action.  Here they stand at the top of the bleachers.  Cool!

Addison Tree Lighting and a visitor!

Always love to share a secret with Santa and what better venue than right in our home town.  This year, the festivities took place at the school and a good time was had by all.  The night before, the kids enjoyed a Santa Lock-In at the school where they watched the Grinch, played some football, ran around and met Santa.  It was a fun filled weekend.

Celebrating Hailee's 9th Birthday!

Tyler stepped right up and started the crafts on his own.  He is getting to be such a big boy!

Xander and Jacob were less interested in the crafts but it looks like they still had a good time.

Here's a special card Tyler made for mom:)  Look how proud he is.

Uncle Rick was making a deal with Ryan.  If the Packers win, Ryan gets 2 gifts.  If the Lions win, zero gifts.  I think it was sealed in spit:)  (Wondering if Rick knows the Packers won?)
Can't believe our sweet Hailee is 9 years old already!

Surely Miss Hailee cannot already be nine!  Sure enough, she is.  We had a fun day bowling and having lunch at McDonald's.  We also spent the afternoon at the Chelsea Library where there was a fun petting zoo and crafts galore!  We had a fun day together, as always.

Double JJ Adventure!

We spent the evening at Double JJ resort the first weekend in December and had a blast.  Ryan has always had a fever for high excitement and Double JJ does not disappoint.  This year, Tyler was a sliding machine.  He rode on all of the slides and daddy had a challenge to keep up.  Mom didn't stand a chance.  After a couple of quick circles, I was nauseaus and had to give up.  I did, however, enjoy catching up on a series I have been wanting to read for a while....Sookie Stackhouse.  What a hoot!  We had a great breakfast and some arcade fun where Ryan kept hitting the jackpot.  Lucky boy!

Decorating for the Christmas Season

It's one of our favorite things to do;)  Bringing out all of the festivities!
